Training & Development for CSI Ltd Personnel
At Cenelec Standards Inspections Ltd, we extend our due diligence to the training and development of all of our personnel. This includes individuals who may not visit site regularly but to whom the hazardous working environment is very much engrained in their role at Cenelec Standards Ltd.
In the evolving oil and gas industry, it is essential that all legislative and industry specific training requirements are recognised and achieved. The rigidity and relevance of all of our training programmes flows from the intense levels of safety that are required within hazardous areas. Health and safety training is at the nucleus of all of our training programmes and events.
Our dedicated human resources function liaises with industry experts and our own lead engineers to outline generic training and development requirements on a regular basis. In addition, personalised programmes of training and development for each individual are discussed at monthly team meetings. In addition to being equipped with Comp’Ex’ 01-04 gas vapour and 05-06 combustible dusts training as standard, our personnel are invited to training and development sessions held at our head office. An example of some of our courses follows:
- DSEAR and ATEX Awareness
- Hazardous Area Classification Refresher
- Explosion Protection Concepts
- Cherry Picker and Boom Access Training
- Safety Passport
- Inspection and Maintenance Procedure Review
- Technical File Review
